Return, Refund & Exchange Policy

At ZamZam Smart Electronics, customer satisfaction is our priority. If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, you may request a return or exchange within seven (7) calendar days from the date of delivery or in-store collection, subject to the terms and conditions outlined below.


1. How to Request a Return or Exchange

You may initiate a return or exchange through any of the following channels:

2. Eligibility for Returns & Exchanges

A. IT, Telecom, Gaming, Smart Devices, Networking, Cameras & Multimedia Products

Products must:

  • Be unopened, unused, and in their original condition.
  • Include all original packaging, manuals, accessories, labels, and protective seals.
  • Not have been activated or registered.
  • Be accompanied by the original sales invoice or proof of purchase.

Please note:

  • Opened non-defective products may be accepted at ZamZam Smart Electronics discretion and will be subject to a 40% restocking fee.
  • All returned products are subject to inspection before approval.
  • ZamZam Smart Electronics reserves the right to refuse any return or exchange that does not meet the above requirements.

B. Home Appliances & Audio/Video Products

Returns and exchanges are subject to:

  • Inspection by ZamZam Smart Electronics or the manufacturer's authorized service centre.
  • Approval confirming the product is eligible for return.

Where applicable, handling charges may apply for returns requested within the eligible return period.


3. Products Not Eligible for Return or Exchange

Returns and exchanges will not be accepted if:

  • The product is damaged, incomplete, altered, or not in its original condition.
  • Original packaging, manuals, accessories, or labels are missing.
  • Security seals have been broken or tampered with.
  • The product has been activated, installed, or used.
  • The original invoice or order confirmation cannot be provided.
  • The product has an active security lock (e.g. Find My iPhone, Google FRP Lock).
  • Multiple exchanges have already been processed against the same purchase.

The following items are non-returnable unless confirmed defective upon inspection:

  • Accessories
  • Hard drives and USB storage devices
  • Movies, music and video games
  • Printer cartridges and toner
  • Personal care and grooming products
  • Headphones and earphones
  • Digital activation codes
  • Gaming credits
  • Extended Warranty Plans (including AppleCare)

4. Exchange Policy

If an exchange is approved:

  • If the replacement product is of higher value, the customer must pay the price difference.
  • If the replacement product is of lower value, the balance will be issued as a ZamZam Smart Electronics Gift Voucher.
  • Exchanges will only be processed after the returned item has been received, inspected, and approved.
  • Only one exchange is permitted per original purchase.

ZamZam Smart Electronics reserves the right to decline repeated or excessive exchange requests.


5. Restocking Fee

A 40% restocking fee will apply to eligible non-defective products that have been opened and accepted for return within the permitted return period.


6. Refund Process

  • Refunds will be credited to the original payment method.
  • Approved refunds will be processed within 7 business days.
  • Return collection or pickup charges may apply depending on the customer's location.

7. Non-Refundable Charges

The following charges are non-refundable once the related service has been completed or acknowledged:

  • Delivery charges
  • Installation charges
  • Service charges
  • Restocking fees (where applicable)

8. Extended Warranty & Protection Plans

Extended warranty and damage protection plans may only be cancelled if the associated main product is returned in accordance with this policy.

Approval remains at the sole discretion of ZamZam Smart Electronics.


9. Promotional Offers & Coupon Codes

  • Products purchased during promotional campaigns may only be refunded at the actual purchase price paid.
  • Coupon discounts, promotional savings, cashback benefits, and redeemed promotional codes are non-refundable and will be deducted from the refund value where applicable.

10. Open Box & Display Products

Open Box and Display Units are sold on a final sale basis.

Exceptions apply only where the product is verified as defective within 7 days of delivery or collection.

Eligible returns must include:

  • Original invoice or proof of purchase
  • Complete product
  • All supplied accessories including chargers, adapters, cables, remote controls, and manuals

11. Policy Misuse

To ensure fairness for all customers, ZamZam Smart Electronics reserves the right to:

  • Refuse returns or exchanges where abuse of this policy is identified.
  • Limit, suspend, or terminate customer accounts that repeatedly violate this policy.
  • Decline returns that appear fraudulent or inconsistent with normal consumer purchasing behaviour.
